We are thrilled to announce the arrival of an extraordinary masterpiece that enriches the selection of Vecchia Cantina di Montepulciano: the new Chianti Classico DOCG ASTORRE NOTI, 2024 Vintage (0.75 l bottle), born from the prestigious collaboration and synergy with our members in the Vinci area.

This launch represents a milestone for us. This new wine completes the Vecchia Cantina di Montepulciano portfolio, fitting perfectly into the segment of great regional denominations. The project is a natural continuation of our journey to add value to Sangiovese, the king grape of our land, elevating it to the highest expression of Tuscan winemaking identity and culture alongside our historic Nobile di Montepulciano.

The Wine: Tasting Notes and Sensory Profile

Born from the encounter between Vecchia Cantina’s cooperative expertise and the deep bond with the Vinci territory, this Chianti Classico expresses all the freshness, tradition, and authenticity of 2024 Sangiovese in the glass:

• Appearance: It displays a clear, lively, and brilliant ruby red color.
• Nose: It offers an intense and refined bouquet, where fragrant aromas of sour cherry, violet, and small red fruits stand out, enriched by delicate spicy notes and a subtle balsamic touch.
• Palate: It features a round, dry, and savory body. The tannins are well-integrated and velvety, supported by a pleasant acidity that delivers a fresh, harmonious, and beautifully persistent sip.
• Pairings: The ideal companion for traditional Tuscan dishes, it pairs magnificently with grilled red meats, game, roasts, and aged cheeses.
